Eastleigh 100

‘Eastleigh 100’ is aiming to be one of the biggest railway events on the 2009 calendar, and supported by both railway enthusiasts and the local community, together with the valued support of many leading rail industry companies, the Eastleigh Centenary Open Weekend’s primary aim is to raise money for a number of local and national charities.

So, who's going and when?

I was going to go and was really, really looking forward to it but now i cant because i wont have enough money to buy the ticket to get in and actually get to Eastleigh altogether.

Have fun though unless someone drives and will offer me a lift

Im going on the Sunday and im also going down to Eastleigh station on the saturday to see if i can see any railtours or other stuff. Its going to be awesome

I wont be attending the event, all due to other meets currently planned with other enthusiasts.

Yeah, that will be good. I've only seen one class 60 before. I am also looking forward to seeing some slammers. They will bring back some great memories, of my first railway journey ever...

And the Hastings unit is out again on July 4th
